Catastrophic Case Management

Consulting Physicians has available physicians with specialized training and current experience in assessing and managing the care of patients with traumatic brain injuries, residuals from stroke, spinal cord injuries, and severe burn injuries. Patients may be seen in the acute phase or sub acute long-term care setting. For non-ambulatory or non-transportable patients, the physicians are available to evaluate in the home or medical facility setting. The physicians will address the current status of the patient as well as the appropriateness of care, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, pharmacology, and durable medical equipment utilization.

If desired, the physician will periodically re-assess the patient’s care and progress to ensure the cost effective administration of superior quality patient care.
